Le Fleurs Gymnastics II

On Thursday morning, Auggie and I met Sarah, Michaya, Baby Dylan and Grandpa Bob in Germantown at Le Fleur's Gym.  The last time we were there, Dylan was still holding on for dear life inside Sarah's womb!  Now we had an extra little guy to play with us.

This swing proved to be the highlight of the day.  I wasn't sure if Auggie would want to try it out because it's pretty high up from the ground...but he LOVED it.  He repeatedly jumped off the "cliff" while hanging on and swinging over the pit of blocks.

Autumn Smiles

Grandma Kitty is staying with Auggie and I while Dada is in Las Vegas.  We've been enjoying the weather outside.

Fall Fun

We drove to Walworth to see Grandpa and Grandma Toynton, Great Grandma Christine, Auntie Michelle, Kendall and Addison and we all went together to Pearce's Farm Market, Corn and Hay Bale Maze.  It was such a beautiful day and everyone had a blast.

It was clear upon arrival what Auggie's focus would be...a great John Deere tractor like his great grandpa Julius's.  Auggie had the pleasure of sitting on the tractor (for long periods) and pretending to drive.

Cousins in the country...

After Pearce's Aaron, Auggie and I went to Klaus and Kate's house for a Chili and Corn Bread Cook-Off.  We had a great time!  Aaron and I had to make our way through 12 pots of chili and then put in our votes for our favorite.  We walked away with a little sweat on our foreheads and heartburn but it was well worth it.  Auggie had fun playing with baby Chase and lots of other kids, eating 5 pumpkin cookies and making his first very own jack-o-lantern (as seen in last photo).

Who's A Model?!

Yes, that's me...involved in the fashion show to benefit the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield:

Now in its eighth year, the Wilson's Center's annual fashion show and luncheon attracts 500 guests from across the Milwaukee metro area.  This year's show featured fashions from Andre Furs, GiGi of Mequon, m.e. Lou, Picardy Shoe Parlour, Suiters and Zita.  Hair and make-up were provided by Studio 890.

I am sandwiched between Sarah Lewis and Michelle Fullerton (my sister-in-law).  We are modeling clothes from m.e. Lou's boutique off of Bluemound in the V. Richards Plaza.

At the end of the day, every model ought enjoy a well-earned cocktail...how about a delicious margarita on the rocks at Blue Agave'.

Auggie spent the day with Grandpa and Grandma Toynton and his cousin Addison.  Grandma and Grandpa took Auggie to his swimming lessons and also took the boys out to lunch.  The boys were reportedly on their best behavior.  Thanks for babysitting!

Grandma Kitty and Grandpa Donnie Visit

My parents surprised us with an impromptu visit yesterday.  Grandpa Donnie and Aaron watched the game together and Grandma surprised Auggie with a new engine for his growing train collection.

Brady Street Days' Buskerfest

Aaron and I decided to take Auggie down to our old stomping grounds on the east side.  This weekend was Brady Street's sidewalk Buskerfest (street performances).  We started our morning at one of our old coffee shops, Rochambo.  Aaron and I had some tall lattes and Auggie had a "Rosie Special" a luke warm chocolate milk with whipped cream on top.

Auggie found a good place to practice some new dance moves.

We found out how the "Rosie's Special" got it's name, a three year old named Rosie and her mom frequent this coffee shop and it's her drink of choice.  Auggie and Rosie were instant friends.

We took Auggie to wear his Momma and Dada first met, the Hi Hat Garage.  We sat outside and  had a wonderful brunch : crab cake eggs benedict for Momma, "Das Rachel (with hangover)" for Dada and wild berries waffles for Auggie.

We decided Auggie looked like Elliot Gould's character from "Ocean's" with my sunglasses on.
