A Visit With Santa and Cousins

Grandpa and Grandma Toynton had bought some matching hand-made sweater outfits in Minocqua for Auggie, Kendall and Addison to wear.  Grandpa and Grandma Toynton came over yesterday so that we could all go to Brookfield Square to have the kids' photos taken, in their matching outfits, with Santa Claus!!

Auggie was raring to go until he took one look at Santa and refused to go near him.  With much effort and two threats of a time out, Auggie agreed to sit "near" enough to Santa so that he'd be in the frame of the photo.  An unexpected reaction considering he just had a photo taken with another Santa (on his lap) the Saturday before.

Showing off their adorable outfits in front of our Christmas tree.

We had to kill some time at the mall before meeting Aaron at Uno's for pizza so we let the kids ride some of the trucks in the play area.  Auggie, lucky boy, got to be the driver of the ice cream truck and Kendall rode shotgun while Addison handed out ice cream from the back seat.

These are really cute photos, especially the ones with the close up shot of the kids. Auggie knew who the 'real' Santa was!
